Effective networking is of fundamental importance to us in Positive Networking and at a number of our meetings we have discussed the importance of selling through the room and not selling to the room.
You will be placed in pairs and you will be given 10 minutes (5 minutes each) to ask questions of each other and (if you wish) to make brief notes about each other’s business. Each person will then get 60 seconds to present the other person’s business to the rest of the room.
In the second half of the meeting you will be placed in two further one-to-one pairings – but with a different objective. You will spend 15 minutes together and at the end of that session both delegates will be in a position to :-
- Stand up and present a pitch on behalf of the other person
- Understand what it is that the other person is looking for
- Identify a couple of actions they will take to help the other person
