Business networking is not blatant selling – it is all about building relationships and collaborating. A fundamental skill in networking is that of asking effective and probing questions.
This exercise tests our questioning skills. Everyone gets chance to have their business revealed to their table – but the information given out is not that which we want to present, it is that which the other participants have asked for. We will fine-tune our techniques so that we fully understand the benefits of each product or service – and we recognise exactly what type of customer each of us is seeking.
